The Rolex GMT-Master II reference 126720VTNR, introduced in 2022 and known among collectors as the "Sprite," is the first GMT-Master II built in a left-hand, or "destro," configuration. The winding crown and crown guards sit on the left side of the 40mm Oystersteel case, and the date aperture with its Cyclops lens moves to 9 o'clock, a layout suited to wearing the watch on the right wrist. The bidirectional rotatable 24-hour bezel carries a two-colour green and black Cerachrom ceramic insert, paired with a black dial, Chromalight hour markers and hands, and a green 24-hour hand for tracking a second time zone.
Inside is the Rolex calibre 3285, a perpetual self-winding manufacture movement with an independently adjustable hour hand for quick time-zone changes and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer for precision after casing, and the Oyster case is water resistant to 100 meters.
