The Rolex Submariner, launched in 1953, was the first wristwatch water resistant to 100 metres and set the template for the modern dive watch. Reference 126613LN is the 41mm Submariner Date in Yellow Rolesor, combining Oystersteel with 18ct yellow gold. The black dial uses a Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence, framed by a unidirectional rotatable bezel with a black Cerachrom ceramic insert and gold-coated 60-minute graduations, while a Cyclops lens magnifies the date at 3 o'clock.

Inside is the Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding manufacture movement with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The Oyster case is water resistant to 300 metres, and the Oyster bracelet closes with an Oysterlock safety clasp and the Glidelock extension system, which allows fine length adjustment without tools.
