The Heuer Camaro was introduced in 1968, named after the Chevrolet Camaro and positioned alongside the Carrera and Autavia as part of Heuer's family of motorsport chronographs during the brand's golden era of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Its defining feature is the cushion-shaped case, a softly squared form that set it apart from Heuer's round chronographs, paired here with a black dial and contrasting sub-dials laid out for clear, at-a-glance timing.
Inside is a manual-winding chronograph movement from the period, with sub-registers for running seconds and elapsed chronograph time, operated by pump pushers on the right side of the case. Vintage Camaro references have become increasingly collected as a more accessible entry point into 1960s and 1970s Heuer chronographs.
