The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore debuted in 1993 as a bolder, more muscular interpretation of Gérald Genta's original Royal Oak, and it went on to define the oversized luxury sports chronograph. Reference 26420CE belongs to the redesigned Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph line introduced in 2021, which refined the case with interchangeable straps and an updated in-house movement. This execution pairs a 43mm black ceramic case with a blue ceramic bezel, secured by the collection's signature hexagonal screws, and a blue "Méga Tapisserie" dial with three chronograph counters and a date window.

Inside is the in-house Calibre 4404, a self-winding integrated chronograph with a column wheel, vertical clutch, and flyback function, offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, and the watch uses Audemars Piguet's quick-change strap system, allowing straps to be swapped without tools.
