The Rolex GMT-Master II blends two time zones into one instrument, first developed in 1954 for Pan Am pilots who needed to track home and destination time simultaneously. This yellow Rolesor rendition, combining Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold, reference 126713GRNR (nicknamed "Zombie" among collectors), pairs a black dial with a bidirectional 24-hour bezel set with a two-colour grey and black Cerachrom insert. The 40mm case carries a monobloc middle case with a screw-down crown and caseback, fitted to a five-piece link Jubilee bracelet in matching Rolesor.

Inside is the calibre 3285, a Rolex manufacture movement that is self-winding and Superlative Chronometer certified, delivering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It drives the GMT-Master II's signature functions: centre hour, minute, and seconds hands, an independently adjustable 24-hour GMT hand for tracking a second time zone, and an instantaneous date display advanced by the Cyclops lens. The bracelet closes with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and an Easylink 5mm comfort extension link, and the case is water resistant to 100 metres behind a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
