The Rolex Deepsea reference 136660, popularly nicknamed the “James Cameron,” features the signature D-blue gradient dial created to commemorate the filmmaker and explorer’s historic solo descent to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The dial transitions from brilliant blue to deep black and is accented by the green “DEEPSEA” inscription.

Engineered for extreme-depth diving, its 44mm Oystersteel case uses Rolex’s Ringlock System, a helium escape valve and a 5.5mm-thick domed sapphire crystal to achieve water resistance to 3,900 metres. Inside, the self-winding Rolex calibre 3235 provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
