The Rolex Datejust 41 is the modern evolution of the watch that, in 1945, became the first self-winding wrist chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial. Reference 126334 pairs an Oystersteel case with an 18 ct white gold fluted bezel, a combination Rolex calls White Rolesor, where the polished flutes catch light from every angle. The dark rhodium dial has a sunray finish that shifts from slate grey to near charcoal depending on the light, framed by applied hour markers with Chromalight luminescence. The 41 mm Oyster case carries the signature Cyclops lens over the date at 3 o'clock.

Inside is the Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement manufactured entirely in house. It incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement, a blue Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers, delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. As a Superlative Chronometer, it is certified to a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing, and the screw-down Twinlock crown and case back keep the watch waterproof to 100 metres.
