The Richard Mille RM 35-02 Automatic Rafael Nadal combines extreme lightweight construction with the architectural transparency that defines the brand’s modern sports watches. Produced in 2018, this example features a tonneau-shaped Carbon TPT case surrounding a fully skeletonized dial. Layered carbon fibers create a distinctive striated pattern across the case, while oversized Arabic numerals and luminous hands preserve legibility over the exposed movement architecture.

Powering the watch is the automatic Richard Mille Calibre RMAL1, a skeletonized movement offering approximately 55 hours of power reserve. Its variable-geometry rotor can be adjusted by a watchmaker to modify winding efficiency according to the wearer’s activity level. The movement uses a grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges for rigidity and impact resistance, reflecting the performance-focused engineering developed through Richard Mille’s partnership with Rafael Nadal.
